...and real reindeer

We had lots of cheer and I got to see my first real reindeer! At where else? The happiest place on earth. Which truly is magical at Christmas time. The Christmas parade, the falling snow, fireworks, and lights galore. It was gorgeous. Aaron and I had so much fun just being us and riding rides over and over. We got to do it all, and ate non-stop. It was a much needed get-away before Aaron had to go up to Stanford for a few weeks of treatments.

Christmas evening we hit the ground running!

Mickey tried to run from me but I weaseled my way in

Day 2: It was the most beautiful weather

Santa & Mrs. Clause were on vacation at Disneyland before heading back to the North Pole and they brought all the reindeer to visit!

Mrs. Clause, I think I want to be her when I retire

We hit all the rides at California too and lots of food and ice cream

Finally got a real picture with Mickey

And the big jolly guy

This might be our new tradition. Ending Christmas in Disneyland was perfect.

Christmas Cheer...

Christmas Eve was spent running around visiting all of our family and friends. It isn't a holiday without seeing all of our favorite faces. First stop, delivering presents to the Continos. The kids were adorable in their new gear and playing with their new toys. Love them to death. Next stop was celebrating Christmas at The Waldrums. (Right after a pit stop at the Garcia's to see Sophie & Nina). We ate a beautiful meal and spent quality time chatting and exchanging gifts. Last stop with my side at my grandparents house, enjoying yet another meal and driving the neighborhood to look at lights and luminaries. Christmas morning was at our house with the whole family. It was a so fun enjoying breakfast and spending the day together. That afternoon Aaron and I were off to Disneyland, on Christmas it was something we have never done, but loved every minute...more on that next post!

Barefoot Christmas Eve Eve

On Friday night my high school girl friends and I celebrated Christmas at Edo-Ya. We have been celebrating for over 10 years together. We rented a private room complete with pillows to sit on and bare-feet only. It was so festive and intimate. We all completely over ordered and ended up with enough food for a small wedding. It was delicious, we ate until we were sick, and then laughed endlessly. My favorite kind of nights. We then came to my house for presents and dessert. Of course we chatted into the wee hours of the morning. I wouldn't trade these nights for anything. Thank you girls for such a blast and all of your hilarious personalities that I love so dearly!
