East Coast Extravaganza Day 4: The Big Apple

On Friday morning, we woke up to some raindrops, but that wasn't going to stop us from exploring the city. We decided to buy a 2-day bus tour so we could see all the sights. We had so much fun riding around Manhattan past different parts of Central Park, Harlem, SoHo, and to the Upper East Side. We learned about the history of the different sections of New York and where all the celebrities live. We jumped off the bus on the Upper East side to eat at The Boathouse, which you may recognize from the movie 27 Dresses. It was a beautiful restaurant, with an adorable patio overlooking the lake that I want to revisit in the summer. We rode the bus through the afternoon and ended back at Times Square to see all the bright lights. Then walked back to the Waldorf from there. That evening we went out to B Bar Grill and Cafe for dinner in NoHo. Then off to the Meat Packing District for some drinks and dancing at The Pludge at the top of Hotel Gansevoort. We weren't planning on dancing but the DJ was awesome and we went with it. Such a fun, spontaneous night out!
